Turmeric Ginger Hot Cocoa
Ingredients
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 1 Tbl fresh turmeric grated
  • 1 Tbl fresh ginger grated
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 cup plant milk or try homemade
  • 1 Tbl cacao powder or cocoa
  • 10 drops liquid stevia or 4 Tbl Erythritol
Instructions
  1. In a saucepan over medium heat, bring 2 cups of water, the grated turmeric, ginger, and pepper to a boil. Turn off the heat and let the water infuse for about 5 minutes. Strain with a fine-mesh strainer.
  2. Return to the saucepan and add 1 cup of plant milk along with the cocoa powder, and Erythritol or stevia. Let simmer until warm.
  3. Ready to drink. Makes 3 cups.
