Sloppy Joe Sandwich
Ingredients
  • 2 8 oz. packages tempeh original soy, crumbled
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small yellow onion chopped
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 16 oz can tomato sauce
  • 3 Tbl yellow mustard
  • 4 Tbl apple cider vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbl Vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • sea salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
  1. Saute the onion, garlic and green pepper in water or vegetable stock until they begin to wilt.
  2. Add the crumbled tempeh and the rest of the ingredients. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more tomato sauce or catsup and/or water.
  3. Simmer until all of the flavors have had a chance to mingle.
