Turmeric Tea
Ingredients
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tsp freshly grated turmeric root
  • 1 tsp freshly grated ginger root
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2-1 Tbl maple syrup (or your favorite sweetener)
Instructions
  1. Place water in a saucepan and heat over medium.
  2. Add the turmeric root, ginger, ground cinnamon and maple syrup.
  3. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain and serve over ice with a slice of lemon.
